Shop Art by Rachel was born after my first impromptu "trunk show" in a St. Petersburg bar parking lot. My friends wanted art for their homes, and I pulled out two piles of rolled up relics, from my studio art days at the University of Central Florida, out of the back of my car. Their friendship and encouragement has re-sparked my passion for creating art.

This isn't my 9-5, but is my afterhours, weekends, and "on my own dime" passion project if you will. I have a Studio Art Minor from UCF, and I'm brushing off the cobwebs to see if my talents are something worth sharing with others outside my inner circle.

I have experience with graphite, color pencil, limestone printmaking, and charcoal, and my work during my undergrad focused primarily on human anatomy. I'm excited to re-establish what mediums speak to me and create artwork that both softens and enhances your living space - making home feel even more homey.
